My Ultimate 2022 Christmas Gift Guide
Mince pies at the ready - it’s the most wonderful time of the year! Just call me Mrs Claus because I have carefully curated a Christmas gift guide to sleigh your holiday shopping. Each and every item below is guaranteed to delight, whether giving or receiving them. And on top of it all, I’ve made it my priority to showcase local, socially conscious businesses. It’s the time to give back, after all.
Ho Ho Happy Shopping!
Secret Santa gifts for £10 or less
It’s no secret that I have a big group of family and friends which is obviously amazing, however it does make gifting around Christmas time quite challenging. Don’t get me wrong, there are few people who love giving gifts as much as I do, but when there are over 20 people around my table on Boxing Day (ie the best party of the season) it’s hard to decide who to buy what for. This is precisely the reason why I love Secret Santa; you draw a name and focus on one person only. Everyone’s included and setting a budget of £10 makes sure each person gets creative.
Here are my go-to’s:
10 Scratch cards
These always go down a treat. Who doesn’t love a scratch card? It’s an easy Secret Santa for anyone and everyone. Always make a deal that if they win over £500 you have to share LOL. Last year I won £100 on a SS scratch card… it want towards champagne obvs.
Local Coffee shop voucher
Easy pressie, everyone loves a coffee right? Try and buy local if you live near the person you are buying for. I always love to support local businesses and let’s be honest, the coffee is better than the large chains.
These are so fun! Have the recipient’s face printed on or even funnier, your own. That way you can be their sole mate forever (geddit?).
A great one for the guy in the office who’s always doing his hair. You might even inspire someone to grow their very own mullet. Theo, it’s a no from me!
A box full of things from the pound shop
Supermarket sweep style. Chuck in whatever takes your fancy from the aisle. The more random the better. Fray Bentos anyone?
Trust me, these mini hands will bring you hours of fun.
Dog Bingo
I mean it’s bingo with dogs, what’s not to love.
Giant Dairy Milk Choc bar
Dairy Milk, the OG of chocolate. My forever fave. If you’re giving this at a party, you could also play the game where you try and eat it with a knife and fork. Mega LOLS.
Sausages
My sister Kate told me she once bought someone four sausages from the local butchers. They were delicious and a total hit so I had to include this randomness!
Mini USB Disco light
Helloooo it’s a disco light that you can take anywhere! I’ve had one of these and they are actually very good. I mean it doesn’t create a rave, but it creates a fancy corner!
Home present ideas
It probably won’t come as a shock that I absolutely adore interiors. I also love giving (and receiving, mind you!) gifts for the home. I particularly like supporting small businesses when it comes to home brands and I can honestly say some of the most beautiful things I have in my home came from lesser-known names. I know interiors are very subjective and not everyone likes the same things. That said, the list below is one created with my own personal wish list.
From divine stripy plates to coffee cups with faces on, Kate’s handmade designs are just the most gorgeous gifts.
From art work to butter dishes, vases to bum plates, Tatiana’s work is just so fun. I’d be happy with any piece
I love these coffee table books. They’re full of bright images of some of the most beautiful countries in the world. Their bright covers look stunning in any room and they are always the best conversation starters.
Candles
Along with 95% of the population, I love a good candle. It’s my go-to, easy buy that is guaranteed to delight any recipient. There is no shortage when it comes to candle brands and I’ve really had to have a good think about which my favourites are. So without further ado, let me take you on my journey of scent.
Synomonous with beautiful candles, Diptyque is an easy win. They do a number of different sizes depending on your budget. I am lucky enough to own one of the big boys; it’s 1.5kg and OMG it is one of the best gifts I’ve ever been given.
My fave scents from the brand are Tuberouse (a creamy rose), Baies – (a fragrant blend of blackcurrant leaves and Bulgarian rose) and Feu De bois (a woody smoky scent).
Their room sprays, fragrances and limited edition Christmas scents are always a joy too. Definitely check out their limited edition Baies sparkly candle-it’s exquisite.
I love this brand, like properly love it. It is actually the perfect gift purely down to the wiggly box it comes in and the beautiful candle pot. And then there’s the scent. Good god they are good. Their iconic croissant candle literally makes your house smell like a Parisian bakery. And Nudesse is Hampton Court flower garden at it’s finest.
An iconic brand that was first established in 1735! These candles are works of art really. Not only are the scents stunning – Orange Renaissance immediately brings back memories of one of my favourite cities in the world, Seville – you’ve never seen a candle holder like these before. A true statement and something you will keep forever, especially as all of the holders are refillable.
These just smell damn yummy. I have a slight obsession with the Queen Jam scent. It smells like the stickiest homemade jam you’ve ever spread on your hot buttered toast.
Talking of fragrance, helloooooooo to my favourite perfume in the world in a candle!! How divine and how exquisite. It’s definitely at the top of my own Christmas list.
Beauty Gifts
What would an LPD gift guide be without including a list of my ultimate beauty buys? In a year when every penny counts, I’ve scoured the shops for gifts that are big on value. I’ve grouped different budgets so whether you are looking for a splurge or a steal, I’ve got you covered.

The Best Pet Pressies
You didn’t think I was going to forget to include my fur children, did you? No ma’am, some of them may have been more naughty than nice (side eye Diddy) but there are few things that bring me more joy than to spoil my pets.
This is fantastic. Sorts a knotty pup out in no time at all!
Now this is for the ultimate spoilt lil mister or madam. This cat bed is nice enough to rival anyone’s real-life furniture!
When one of your fave hairdressers makes dog shampoo, you listen! Undirty is a brilliant product that leaves your dogs locks feeling and smelling like they’re just had a personalised blow dry with George himself.
Not to be outdone by their feline friends, check out this cosy dog bed. It’s not the prettiest but the dogs in the pics always look soooo happy, so I had to feature it.

Your cat will seriously have hours of fun with this UBS chargeable toy fish. That, or Your Highness will move onto better things…the packaging the fish comes in.
Gifts for the person who has everything
I have been told I am hard to buy for. Personally, I don’t know what people are talking about… buy me a giant tin of Perello olives and Bob’s your uncle! Having said that, I know there are some people who are difficult to buy for; they either have everything or they are just plain old picky. I’ve searched high and low to find the perfect pressies for the hard-to-buy.
I mean if you have a pet there’s no way you’re not going to love this personalised jumper. I have one with Snoop, Diddy and Kimmy on it and it’s one of my fave things in my wardrobe. Everyone I’ve gifted one too has adored it too. I also love the cushions and tote bags. Basically anything with my pets on is an absolute winner of a present.
Okay, I know there’s a theme here, I love dogs, what can I say!? And this is practically Where’s Wally featuring your pet. Genius and hours of fun.

Any type of home fragrance is a perfect gift, even for the most difficult to buy for. This home diffuser by Acqua Du Parma is a fave of mine. Mainly because it fills a room, lasts for months and looks lovely. On top of that, refills can be purchased of this iconic woody floral scent.
Well, this is my favourite cheese shop in the world. And although their website seems pretty old school, it’s worth the navigation as the cheese is exceptional. Try the Cremet cheese with the truffle honey (and then don’t forget to send it as a gift too), you’re welcome.
